ATTRACTIONS AND HISTORY IN CENTRAL OHIO

Central Ohio has it's share of history and attractions also. Columbus, Ohio is the Capitol. The Statehouse is at the Ohio Capitol Square Complex.

The NationalTrail Raceway is a drag racing attraction that features all classes of competition each weekend from April to October. The NHRA oldsmobile spring nationals are held every year in June. Raceway (740)928-5706.

The Buckeye Central Scenic Railroad travels through the Ohio farmland's. It is a 1 hour, 10 mile train ride that follows the route of the historic 1854 Shawnee Line, which was a vital transportation link for the settlement of western America.

Moundbuilders State Memorial and Indian Art Museums are also located here.

Blackhand Gorge provides tourists, visitors and nature lovers with 970 acres of a beautiful and inspiring Gorge.

The Columbus Zoo is a tourists site to see.

Don't miss The Dawes Arboretum.

The Beulah Park Jockey Club is Ohio's original home of Thoroughbred Racing. Sinse 1923, millions of visitors and fans have found this to be a top attraction in the area. Located in Grove City, Ohio.

The Licking County Bike Trails are beautiful and a very popular spot for walking and biking.

Cosi was born in March, 1964. Cosi has a rich heritage of providing exiting science education experiences to over 18 million visitors. Cosi continues to help family's explore science.

The Ohio State Fair is July 30 - August 10 in Columbus, Ohio.
